I'm a Vancouver based photographer who is in love with capturing sweet love frame by frame.

Whether I am photographing new parents with their new bundle of joy or photographing giddy couples on their wedding day, I always feel lucky that they have chosen me to capture this exciting time of their lives.

I use this blog as a journal so you might find me posting not only the cute babies or the gorgeous weddings that I've been so lucky to photograph, but I'll post about my travels, favorite restaurants, what I did on the weekend, random tidbits and whatever else I'm feeling that day.

Happy Mother’s Day! Photoshoot with Vancouver’s Modern Mommy Tamara Taggart for BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Foundation!

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope all you mommies and grandmommies out there are enjoying your day!

Recently I was honoured once again to photograph CTV News Anchor and Vancouver’s Modern Mommy Tamara Taggart and her 3 adorable kids for the Mother’s Day “Bunches of Love” Campaign benefiting BC Womens’ Hospital & Health Centre Foundation.

This year we had Tamara’s mom Sharon and mother-in-law Carol for a 3 generations photo-op and to help Tamara round up her 3 very energetic kids! Beckett is now 4 and a half, Zöe who is 3 and a half and Poppy who is now 18 months! IGA had brought over 10 gorgeous bunches of flowers the night before to Tamara’s home so the morning was spent arranging the flowers, playing with the kids and moving some furniture around in Tamara and husband Dave’s living room. It was a house full of flowers, munchkins running around, singing and LOVE! Here are some of my favorites shots from that morning (:

A little breather….

I’ve been away from my little blog for over 3 months as my life has been in a little transitional period. As most photographers can probably relate, I am back-blogged as I was a busy bee in 2011 taking photos for wonderful families and couples and even for a Superbowl champ (no kidding!) One of the last photos I took in 2011 was for my own sister and her husband as they welcomed their son Leif, photographed here at 10 days old with the sweetest smile. Pure love.

Breathers are good for the soul.

Happy Hallowe’en!

I wish everyday was Hallowe’en so that I can dress up my 5 month old nephew in all sorts of animal costumes. Perhaps I’ll aim to dress him up in all 12 zodiac signs… next year is the year of the dragon!

Melany + Alex {Westwood Plateau Wedding}

One of the most energetic weddings I photographed this past season was Melany & Alex’s up at the beautiful Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club in Coquitlam. Melany and Alex along with their 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen/woman were an awesome group to photograph. Alex’s best man was his younger brother Chris who’s wedding I photographed last year and I also photographed the wedding of one of Melany’s bridesmaids, Nancy. Small world! Although it was supposed to rain we had pockets of no rain and even some sunshine so we took advantage of the greenery at Westwood Plateau and getting around in a golf cart, which was quite nice.
