I wish everyday was Hallowe’en so that I can dress up my 5 month old nephew in all sorts of animal costumes. Perhaps I’ll aim to dress him up in all 12 zodiac signs… next year is the year of the dragon!
Happy and safe Hallowe’en everyone (:

One of the most energetic weddings I photographed this past season was Melany & Alex’s up at the beautiful Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club in Coquitlam. Melany and Alex along with their 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen/woman were an awesome group to photograph. Alex’s best man was his younger brother Chris who’s wedding I photographed last year and I also photographed the wedding of one of Melany’s bridesmaids, Nancy. Small world! Although it was supposed to rain we had pockets of no rain and even some sunshine so we took advantage of the greenery at Westwood Plateau and getting around in a golf cart, which was quite nice.
Here are some photos from their big day (:

Melany, you make a gorgeous bride….

Their ceremony was infused with Filipino traditions of the pinning of the veil and draping of the cord – I just love these traditions.

Congratulations again Melany and Alex!

October’s been a bit of a busy month for me – I haven’t found the time to blog much but thought I would post up one of my many favorite shots from Joanne and Matt’s wedding over the weekend. This one was taken at the Sutton Place Hotel, what a gorgeous bride!

I had the pleasure of photographing Joanne and Matt for the portrait photos in beautiful Kamloops this past summer. They chose Kamloops as their backdrop as this is where Matt grew up…and what a gorgeous place Kamloops is! I absolutely loved this engagement session, it was the perfect mix of country and chic.

This is Matt’s parents’ backyard…the pool looked so inviting and the view was absolutely breathtaking…

On the side of the road….

Congrats to the happy couple!
